Climate Week 2013

There are three weeks to go until Climate Week starts on 4 March, and already over 1,900 events have been registered.Please register your Climate Week activity and join hundreds of thousands of people across the country who are growing the movement for environmental change. Registration takes just two minutes.If you have not yet planned your activities for Climate Week, here are some quick ideas: Take some small steps to live more sustainably with Climate Week at Home. For example, virtually every home uses toilet paper - try buying Andrex® Eco which is 90% recycled and 10% bamboo, which uses less land and water than trees. Take part in the Climate Week Energy Switch to switch your electricity and gas supply to green energy company Ecotricity, and encourage other people to do the same. Enter the Climate Week Challenge, Britain’s biggest environmental competition. Kick Out The Can: gather your surplus paint ready to bring back to Crown Decorating Centres during Climate Week. Host a Climate Week Swap and be in with a chance to swap items with celebrities such as Frank Lampard, Hugh Laurie and Tom Jones.
