West Midlands Branch Conference


Venue: The Village Hotel, Walsall

9am - 4pm      You and your team are invited to attend the second Annual HEFMA West Midlands Regional Conference.      The theme of the conference is sustainability and the programme will cover broad aspects of this topic - from technical issues of compliance and best practice to the sustainability of the individual through remaining healthy in body and mind.      Carefully planned sessions will focus on different aspects of sustainability within the context of NHS Estates and Facilities Management:  * Local best practice with a panel discussion on achieving the best from your projects  * Sustainable and compliant waste management  * The sustainability agenda  * Changes in compliance and how to stay on top  * Sustaining yourself with keynote speaker and ex-England cricketer, Alex Gidman, who runs his own company helping professional sports stars transition into mainstream life when their sporting careers come to an end. He will cover subjects such as managing in difficult situations and coping with adversity.         There will also be networking opportunities with fellow Estates & Facilities professionals and carefully chosen suppliers.      The Conference is open to supervisors and managers from all Trusts.
