Inspection visit took place on March 15, 2022.
This was an unannounced focused inspection to check the quality of services in response to a warning notice issued in May 2021 requiring improvements to be made in the assessment and management of risk, implementation of falls prevention actions and improvements in learning from serious incidents. The medicine service had been rated as inadequate and warning notices issued.
On this inspection of the medical care core service the CQC found that the issues that had led to the serving of the warning notice had been addressed and the service was re-rated to requires improvement.
