The inspection visit took place on July 28, 2020.

It was an unannounced, focused visit with the Trust given just 48 hours notice. This is because of concerns from the previous inspection relating to the safe and proper management of medicines in gynaecology, maternity and neonatal services.

The inspection found that the hospital had improved and now uses systems and processes that ensure safe prescribing, administering, recording and storage of medicines in all core services.
