Inspection visit took place on July 28. This was an unannounced focused inspection of the maternity service in response to concerns around safety and governance. At the time of the visit the department was operating under COVID-19 infection prevention and control measures. The inspection focused on methodology. The overall rating remains as requires improvement, although the ratings for effective went down.
