Inspection visit took place on June 1, 2021.
This was an unannounced focus inspection because at the CQC’s previous inspection in December 2020 it identified a breach of the Health and Social Care Act (2008) Regulation 12, Safe Care and Treatment. Concerns were based on long waiting times for assessment, infection prevention and control measures and staffing levels. A warning notice was issued.
This inspection focused on the CQC domains of safe, responsive and well-led and rated the services as requires improvement for responsive and good for save and well-led. The overall rating has improved for urgent and emergency services from requires improvement too good.
