The inspection visit took place on December 21, 2020.
Services were inspected but not rated. This was an unannounced, focused inspection in response of the Emergency Department following the ‘Resilience 5 Plus’ process used to support focused inspection of A&E services that may be under pressure due to winter demands of concerns in relation to patient flow and COVID-19.
