The inspection visit took place on July 30, 2020. It was a short notice announced focused inspection that looked at falls assessment and management across both medicine and surgery core services in response to concerns raised following serious incidents. The inspection also reviewed discharge processes as a result of concerns raised about communication upon discharge.
