Inspection visit took place on August 3-4, 2021.

This was part of an unannounced inspection after receiving concerns about patients being put at risk. Medicines core services were visited. The service was inspected but not rated. Following the inspection, under Section 31 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008, the CQC sent the Trust a letter of intent in respect to the regulated activity, treatment of disease, disorder and injury and diagnostic screen procedures. This action was taken as the CQC believed a person would, or may be exposed to the risk of harm if it had not done so, The Trust provided actions at the time of the inspection that assured the CQC that people were kept safe.
