The inspection visit took place on June 9-10, 2020. Overall, the rating of services went down from the previous inspection. Rating the service as inadequate, the CQC took enforcement action to promote patient safety. Conditions were placed on the Trust’s registration in relation to the assessment and management of risk, care planning and incident management. Warning notices were served for improvements to be made in end of life care staffing, end of life staff competencies and end of life governance systems, as well as the way staff support patients with their personal preferences and individual needs.
