Inspection visit took place on May 5 - 28, 2021.

This was an unannounced inspection of the acute wards and psychiatric intensive care units, mental health wards for older people, and crisis and health-based places of safety, because at the last inspection they were rated as inadequate.

Two services were rated as requires improvement, whilst the acute wards and psychiatric intensive care units remain as inadequate as further improvement is required.

Overall, the Trust was rated as requires improvement, with a rating of good in the caring key question.
