The inspection visit took place on December 9 & 10, 2020. This was a short notice announced, focused inspection of the surgical care group of Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust at which the service was not rated. The aim was to see if the Trust had taken the necessary action and made the required changes following six never events between February and September 2020.
