Inspection visit took place on April 13.

This was an unannounced focused inspection of maternity services to follow up on issues identified in the 2019 inspection. The rating of the services remained the same, as Requires Improvement, because it was frequently short-staffed, did not have a tool in place to triage women, and although the governance arrangements had been improved concerns remained about continued lack of compliance with the Maternity Incentive Scheme.
