Nutrition and Hydration Week 2020

The annual week to throw the spotlight on the importance of good hydration and good nutrition is in its ninth year. Themes of the day are: Monday – Breakfasts • Tuesday – Suppers • Wednesday – Afternoon Tea with the Global Afternoon Tea Party • Thursday – Hydration • Friday – Fruit or Fish • Saturday – Smoothies • Sunday – Sundaes. The week is a celebration and an opportunity to raise awareness and all healthcare establishments are invited to take part by organising their own events and sharing their activities across social media.
On Wednesday, March 18 Nutrition and Hydration Week will also be supporting colleagues from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) for Swallow Awareness Day.
