Places are still available on the autumn cohort of the LDN Sustainable Healthcare Academy’s programme, and qualifying NHS staff are invited to apply by October 23.
Developed in partnership with the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare and Greener NHS, the Academy helps individuals to gain the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to support their organisation’s Green Plan by delivering meaningful sustainability projects alongside their existing role.
At the core of the LDN Sustainable Healthcare Academy’s programme is the Level 4 Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Practitioner apprenticeship. The programme is a levy-funded route for NHS staff to increase their knowledge and develop the skills needed to shape and drive the NHS sustainability agenda. It is tailored to healthcare and learning is guided by industry-expert skills coaches.
The programme is modular and includes:
• Foundations for a Net Zero Health Service
• Implementing your Trust’s Green Plan
• Project, change and culture management
• Driving sustainability with stakeholders
• Analysing and presenting data effectively
• Budgeting and building a business case
