Health Secretary to address Expo 2018

The newly appointed Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock joins the top line-up of leading national speakers at this year’s Health and Care Innovation Expo 2018, which takes place at Manchester Central on September 5 & 6. 

 

Delegates will have the chance to hear the latest progress on how NHS England is developing a ten-year plan for the NHS and embracing innovation to improve patient care including through digital and technological advances.

 

Expo 2018 will provide one of the first opportunities for the Secretary of State to address a major health and social care conference following his recent appointment.

 

The programme has a comprehensive line-up of senior leaders from the NHS, local government and social care to include keynote addresses and contributions Simon Stevens, Chief Executive of NHS England; Ian Dalton, Chief Executive of NHS Improvement; Ian Trenholm, the newly-appointed Chief Executive of the Care Quality Commission; Duncan Selbie, Chief Executive of Public Health England, and Glen Garrod, President of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Care.
