NHS Property Services is to host a webinar focusing on reducing the environmental impact of its buildings and creating awareness amongst its people and the occupiers of its buildings to help with this process.

NHS Property Services has over 3,000 properties and 5,000 employees. Working together, including building occupiers, the company wants to reduce waste, the carbon intensity of its buildings and operating costs.

The newly formed Energy and Environment team are focusing on designing and implementing a strategy that looks at both targeting energy and environment management in a holistic way from individual sites through to the corporate level. The webinar will share information about this strategy and relevant/interested parties are invited to join.

The agenda will include industry trends, the position of NHS Property Services – its challenges and goals and how everyone can help become more energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly. Speakers will be Cameron Hawkins, Head of Energy and Environment and Nick MacDonald Smith, Principal Energy and Environment Programme Manager, both at NHS Property Services.

The webinar will be held on Thursday, September 26 from 12.30 – 1.15pm. Click here to register to join the webinar.
