NHS Supplier Forum

NHS England’s Central Commercial Function hosted its first ever NHS Supplier Forum on November 29. This brought together over 200 NHS suppliers - including many estates suppliers - and NHS commercial teams to discuss shared challenges and opportunities.

During the day we discussed how we can make it easier to do business with the NHS, how we can become a greener and more sustainable health service and how we can find smarter ways of working together. Read more about our vision for how the NHS will work with its suppliers.

ProCure Training Academy - new P23 training modules

You can now access two free e-training modules for ProCure23, the preferred route to market for NHS capital projects, through the ProCure Training Academy.

If you had login details for the ProCure22 Training Academy, these should still work. If you have any queries, or are unable to access the training modules for any reason, please contact your NHSE P23 Implementation Advisor directly, or the NHSE support team on: [email protected].

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who have contributed to developing and testing the new training modules over the recent months. Watch out for more new modules being added to the ProCure Training Academy in the future.

Net Zero and Social Value e-learning now available

NHS England has launched a new one-hour long Net Zero and Social Value e-learning course to help procurement teams implement the 10% net zero and social value weighting, which has been mandatory for every tender since April this year to meet the requirements of government Procurement Policy Notice PPN 06/20.

More consistent implementation of net zero and social value weighting will shape the market sustainably, drive net zero in our supply chain, increase value for taxpayers, reduce health inequalities and maximise health outcomes.

To request an access code, join the Central Commercial Function Hub and complete a Microsoft Form, this should only take a couple of minutes. You will then receive an invitation to access the e-learning modules from ‘Social Value Academy’. If you have any difficulties accessing the course, please contact: [email protected]
