NHS Improvement will host a two-hour long Estates and Facilities Surgery, focused on the future of the NHS Estate during the Healthcare Estates conference and exhibition next week in Manchester.

The surgery will run on day two of the event (Wednesday, October 10) from 11.15 – 13.30. It will be led by the national NHSI team and will give delegates an insight into the national landscape; a conduit to actively contribute toward shaping the national programmes going forward and focused time with the national workstream leads. All conference delegates, speakers and chairmen are invited to attend this session.

The NHSI team are also offering bookable one-to-one consultations with NHS Estates and Facilities staff over the entire two days. These may be booked on the NHSI collaboration hub or at the event.

Other highlights of the 2018 Healthcare Estates programme include a Keynote presentation from Simon Corben, Director and Head of Profession, NHS Estates and Facilities, NHS Improvement, who will present the NHSI perspective, and Nick Hulme, Chief Executive for East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust, STP Lead for Suffolk and North East Essex STP. This promises to be a forward-thinking session, entitled, ‘How Healthy is your Horse? The Future of the NHS’.
