NHS managers whose Trust is part of NHSI’s Improvement Collaborative, are invited to join the Leading Healthy Workplaces train the trainer programme.

Held by NHS Improvement and Zeal Training, the programme will help managers understand, explore and develop supportive leadership and management behaviours to maximise their own potential as well as the staff they lead. Attendees will come away with practical tips, tools and techniques to deliver the training in their own organisation.

Managers booking a place on this programme commit to sharing the learning within their Trust over the next six months and participating in an evaluation exercise which will measure the impact of the training session attended and the delivery of training within their own Trust.

Eight training days are available specifically for the NHS Improvement sickness absence programme cohort to attend. They will take place at various NHS locations across England.

May 21 - Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust

May 23 - Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

May 28 - Royal Stoke University Hospital

May 30 - 2gether NHS Foundation Trust Gloucester

June 4 - Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust

June 6 - St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

June 11 - East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust

June 18 - Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust

This training programme has been developed to offer maximum flexibility in delivery. It can be delivered to staff as a day’s training or as modules. The individual modules also offer flexibility in terms of delivery depending on the length of time available to the trainer. Modules could be delivered to complement other existing training programmes or events.
