‘Delivering Estates & Facilities Services FIT FOR THE FUTURE’ is the theme for HEFMA’s 2026 National Leadership Forum, the industry’s key event for NHS Estates & Facilities professionals across England. The Forum will be held on May 27 – 29, 2026, with the conference programme taking place on May 28 & 29, the opening ice-breaker dinner on the evening of Wednesday, May 27, and the Gala Awards Dinner on the evening of Thursday, May 28 at which the winners of HEFMA 2026 Awards will be announced. Hosted by the Northern & Yorkshire Branch, the venue for the 2026 Forum is the Royal Armouries in Leeds.

More details of the conference programme sessions and speakers will be revealed during the coming weeks. Delegates can expect a focus on the shift to neighbourhood health and what that means for the NHS estate and the provision of facilities services,  as well as national priorities for Estates & Facilities and the health service overall, new challenges such as the introduction of Martyn’s Law, alongside some of the critical developments and solutions facing services, around the digital agenda, people, compliance and sustainability, in-line with HEFMA’s core objectives in the five-year Strategy (2025-2030).

Attending Forum as a delegate

At the 2025 Forum, National Chair David Moss announced a change to the membership structure, which will see one residential delegate place at the National Leadership Forum included in the membership fee paid by Trusts. This subsidy supports Trusts through the present difficult financial times, enabling at least one member of their Estates & Facilities team to benefit from the learning and networking opportunities at the Forum free of charge.

The booking system is now open. Join us in Leeds to ensure your E&F services are Fit for the Future.
