The deadline to nominate your hard-working teams and individuals from NHS Estates and Facilities Management has been extended to June 21. HEFMA’s prestigious annual awards will recognise achievements from across the UK in the last 18 months.

At the beginning of 2020 few of us could have predicted what was to come and just how it would affect us all, and none more so than NHS staff working on the front line. It’s been a challenging 18 months, and the 2021 HEFMA Awards are dedicated to recognising the excellence shown and demonstrated by our people, day-in, day-out – whether that be initiatives in response to the pandemic or maintaining impetus on existing projects for service and efficiency improvements or the welfare and professional development of staff.

The format has been changed slightly for this year. We have simplified the nomination process, because we appreciate that everyone is still very busy. We will also be awarding one winner from each Branch to ensure efforts are recognised across the country. One overall, national winner will be selected from these Branch winners.

More detail of the format, factors to consider when making a nomination and how to enter are available here.

This is an opportunity for every Trust across the country to reward staff for their efforts and gain national recognition by sharing their achievements and good ideas more widely with other Trusts. Anyone can make a nomination, so please, start the process today.

The deadline for entries is June 21, so there is no time to waste.
