As significant national investment aims to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across the NHS, Skills for Health is inviting healthcare workers to take part in a short survey to improve understanding of how AI is shaping their roles, skills and day-to-day practice in healthcare.
Whilst there are clear opportunities to improve the patient experience and support new ways of working through the adoption of AI, Skills for Health recognises that important questions remain about how these changes will affect the workforce.
‘AI and the Future of the Healthcare Workforce’ aims to understand how AI is being adopted across healthcare, what is working well, identify the challenges and the support needed by staff.
Skills for Health is keen to hear from healthcare workers across the UK regarding:
• The opportunities AI presents for improving care and working practices
• Any concerns or risks associated with its adoption
• The skills, education and training needs to support the workforce in the years ahead.
By capturing frontline perspectives, Skills for Health hopes to build a clearer picture of workforce sentiment and inform future approaches to training, workforce planning and policy development.
All responses will be anonymised and the findings will be used to support ongoing sector-wide discussions and highlight priorities for investment in skills and development.
AI in Healthcare EFM
